Llif (Flow in Welsh) is a film I am currently making with Sion Marshall-Waters (camera), AcouChristo (sound) and Rufus Mufasa (poetry). It follows my artistic practice in response to my experiences of childloss. Filming has taken place in Wales, on the seashore, by the river and underwater. It is made in honour of all those who have experienced the trauma of losing a child and the dream of becoming a parent.

There is precious beauty that flows alongside deep loss.

The trailer was released on the eve of Samhain (31 October 2020), to honour the deceased.

The full length film is due to be released in time for Beltane (1 May 2021), marking the growing daylight and fecundity of the land.

This project is supported by Arts Council of Wales.
